Summary of Chapter 12:

Outer Story:

In Chapter 12 Jesus (peace be upon Him) begins to die to the world, begins to end His ministry in the world, and begins to prepare Himself and His disciples and His servants (friends), prepare them, for the true resurrection of us all, the true judgment of the prince of the world, if we truly want it, for Jesus (peace be upon Him) on the "outside" of us to be "lifted up from the earth" by God within us, and for Jesus (peace be upon Him) within us, which is our very own soul, when God pulls Jesus (peace be upon Him) into Himself,  to "draw all men unto Me".

And Jesus (peace be upon Him) does this, begins to do this in Chapter 12, by explaining this to them, and in this way, through this incredible explanation of "just how it works", begins to take with Him those who believe in Him, to take with Him to the next world those who truly believe in Him, that is, those who believe in God, in Him who sent Jesus into the world, not just in Jesus alone (peace be upon Him), that is, who believe in the Holy Trinity of God within us, as the Father, the Son of God, and the Holy Spirit of God within us, which from one perspective is God, Jesus, and "John the Baptist" (peace be upon Them) within us.

Yes, "John the Baptist" or the Holy Spirit within us, which in truth is the wisdom surrounding our soul, which has been placed within us by God a very long time ago, as the "Guardian of our Soul" within us, which must be awakened within us, in order to do battle with the "enemy of our soul" within us, which is "us" in our current state of "separation and differences", our current life of sin with our brothers and sisters in the world that we collectively see in our ignorance as existing on the "outside" of us.

In this way, we must join with God within us, with our wisdom within us, with the "Guardian of our Soul" within us, to liberate our soul from the cross of our elemental body, by pulling out the five nails of "desire to live" here, to live on the "outside" of us as "separate from" God, as "separate from" each other, and as "separate from" the Creation of God within us, and sin.

To liberate our soul within us, which in truth is Jesus (peace be upon Him) within us, through the wisdom within us, and the truth of God within our wisdom, through our wisdom which must first be awakened within us by the Word of God for our age, that God has placed both within us and "outside" of us for our age, which for our age is the life and teaching of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him), and of His Children (may God be pleased with each of Us), with is each of us living in this age, if we want it.

In this way, this is what must happen in our life, before we die, for our life to become truly successful before we die, our wisdom must awaken within us and liberate our soul within us from this impure birth, which is our "outside", which is "us" living on the "outside" of us as the "enemy of our soul", in this way, returning our soul to purity within us, which in truth is our true inside, or said another way, the flower of the Holy Trinity within us must bloom within us with Jesus (peace be upon Him) as its fragrance, the fragrance of God within us, and we must be there within that flower, as "One with" the Holy Trinity within us, as "One with" the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit within us, as God's witness within us, for any of this to happen within us, in this age.

For any of what Jesus (peace be upon Him) told us should happen, to happen to us, that Jesus (peace be upon Him) lovingly told us over 2000 years ago, and as recorded now in Chapter 12 of the "Gospel of John" for all of to read, to read with our wisdom, through the gift of God for our age, through the life and teaching of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him), and of His Children (may God be pleased with each of us).

For any of this to happen to us in our age, that is, for Jesus (peace be upon Him) on the "outside" of us, as the gift of God for our age, to be pulled out of this world by God within us, which are now the Children of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with each of Us), and for Jesus (peace be upon Him) within us, which is our very own soul, to pull us out of this world with Him, when He leaves the life of impurity within us, which is where our "outside" really is, with "us" becoming God's witness of all this happening within us, God's witness of "us" coming to completeness in this way within God within us.  Amen

The Inner Meaning:

We have a choice of an eternal life of "Oneness with" God, or of an eternal life of "separation from" God, a choice we must each make before we die, and "no choice" is a choice, a choice to continue to live as "separate from" God until we die, and to experience what that really means within us, for eternity, after we die.

A.  Jesus Is Anointed By Mary

Outer Story:

In preparation for His death to the world, Mary took a pound of ointment of spikenard, very costly, and anointed the feet of Jesus (peace be upon Him)

1.  Then Jesus six days before the passover came to Bethany, where Lazarus was
which had been dead, whom He raised from the dead.
2.  There they made Him a supper; and Martha served: but Lazarus was one of them
that sat at the table with Him.
3.  Then took Mary a pound of ointment of spikenard, very costly, and anointed the
feet of Jesus, and wiped His feet with her hair: and the house was filled with the
          odor of the ointment.
4.  Then said one of His disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, which should betray
          Him,
5.  Why was not this ointment sold for three hundred pence, and given to the poor?
6.  This he said, not that he cared for the poor; but because he was a thief, and had
the bag, and bare what was put therein.
7.  Then said Jesus, Let her alone: against the day of My burying hath she kept this.
8.  For the poor always ye have with you; but Me ye have not always.
9.  Much people of the Jews therefore knew that He was there: and they came not for
Jesus' sake, but that they might see Lazarus also, whom He had raised from
          the dead.

Inner Meaning:

God has given each of us two options, a life of darkness and a life of light,
and Jesus (peace be upon Him) comes into the world, in each age, to judge us,
to see which option we have chosen, to harvest the lives of light in each age, and to offer them the path of salvation, which are His words, back into the "Oneness of God and True Man", for those who have truly become the light of God for their age.

B.  The Plot To Put Jesus To Death

Outer Story:

Because the Jews were believing in Jesus (peace be upon Him) the Chief Priests plot to put Jesus to death, so as the Chief Priests tell the people, "So one Jew may die, so as not to upset the Romans, so the rest of the Jews might live in peace".

10.  But the chief priests consulted that they might put (Jesus to death, and ) Lazarus
          also to death;
11.  Because that by reason of him (Lazarus) many of the Jews went away (from the
          religion) and believed on Jesus.

The Inner Meaning:

We must let God plant and harvest his light from within us, before we die, let Him purify His Father's house within us, before we die, and in the process become God's witness, of what God is doing within us, which is revealing God to God within us, for the benefit of all of the Creation of God within us, and in this way, becoming "One with" God's "Nothing" within us, His "No-thing" within us, allowing the "Nothing" within us to pull us back into Itself, before we die, from the understanding of the "Nothing" within us, which is the essence of the understanding of "everything" within us, which is the essence of the "everything" within us.  Amen.

C.  Jesus Rides Into Jerusalem As The King of The Jews

Outer Story:

Near the end of His ministry in the world Jesus rides to the passover in Jerusalem on a young ass with the people laying down palm leaves and shouting, "Hosonna: Blessed is the King of Israel that cometh in the name of the Lord"

12.  On the next day, much people that were come to the feast, when they heard that
          Jesus was coming to Jerusalem.
13.  Took branches of palm trees, and went forth to meet Him, and cried, "Hosonna:
Blessed is the King of Israel that cometh in the name of the Lord".
14.  And Jesus, when He had found a young ass, sat thereon; as it is written,
15.  Fear not, daughters of Sion: behold, thy King cometh, sitting on an ass's colt.
16.  These things understood not His disciples at the first: but when Jesus was
glorified, then remembered they that these things were written of Him, and that
they had done these things Him.
17.  The people therefore that were with Him when He called Lazarus out of the grave,
and raised him from the dead, bare record.
18.  For this cause the people also met Him, for that they heard that He had done
          this miracle.
19.  The Pharisees therefore said among themselves, Perceive ye how ye prevail
nothing?  Behold, the world is gone after Him.
20.  And there were certain Greeks among them that came up to worship at the feast.
21.  The same came therefore to Philip, which was of Bethsaida of Galilee, and
desired Him, saying, Sir, we would see Jesus.
22.  Philip cometh and telleth Andrew: and again Andrew and Philip tell Jesus

Inner Meaning:

Many people profess a belief in Jesus and in the God who sent Him into the world, but in truth they have only been caught by the miracles that Jesus (peace be upon Him) performed on the "outside", which in one way is like a magic show or a carnival where people are attracted because they like to be entertained.

The same can be true of those who gather around a true Prophet of God, a true Messenger of God, when He comes into the world, like Jesus (peace be upon Him), who performed many miracles on the "outside" of Him over 2000 years ago, and like our Father for this age, the gift of God for our age, Shaikh Muhammad Rahim Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him), who really performed only one miracle, which is His Children (may God be pleased with each of Us).  Amen.

For as Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him) told us, when one of His disciples complained that not many people were coming to meet Bawa, when He first came to America,

"That is an easy problem to solve, all we have to do is rend a football stadium,
and start to perform miracles, and everyone will come."

D.  Jesus Tells Us The Real Meaning of "Going After Him"

Outer Story:

After many people have been attracted to Jesus (peace be upon Him) through His miracles, like raising Lazarus from the dead, with the world in Jerusalem literally, as the Pharisees said at the time, having "gone after Him", Jesus tells them the real meaning of "going after Him", which is to die before death, which is very, very different from what most of them had in mind, when they "went after Him", and cautions them about loving the world and their life.

23.  And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of man
should be glorified (by understanding the Holy Trinity of God within us through
our wisdom, and God within our wisdom, and through this understanding, by
becoming "One with" It within us, that is, becoming "One with" the Father, the
Son, and the Holy Spirit of God within us, and in this way, by allowing It within
us to again become "One with" God within us, in this way, revealing True Man
within the Creation of God within us, as the "Oneness of God and His Creation"
          within us.  Amen).
24.  Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die,
it abideth alone: but if it die (before it dies or rots in the earth, if it germinates),
          it bringeth forth much fruit.
25.  He that loveth his life (in this world) shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this
world shall keep it unto life eternal.
26.  If any man serve Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there shall My servant
be: if any man serve Me (by becoming "One with" Me, who is his Light life within
him, and doing this through his wisdom, by first becoming "One with" his
wisdom, who is his Spirit within him, or "John the Baptist" within him), him will
          My Father honor.

Inner Meaning:

Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit", and "He that loveth his life (in the world) shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal."

E.  Jesus Explains That "Now Is The Judgment of This World" Within Us - the world that we see in our ignorance as existing "outside" of us

Outer Story:

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth My Word, and believeth in Him that sent Me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life (John: 11-24)

27.  Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say?  Father, save Me from this hour:
but for this cause came I unto this hour.
28.  Father, glorify Thy Name.  Then came a voice from heaven, saying, I have both
glorified It, and will glorify it again.
29.  The people therefore, that stood by, and heard It, said that It thundered: others
said, An angel spake to Him.
30.  Jesus answered and said, This voice came not because of Me, but for your
          sakes.
31.  Now is the Judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out
(of each of you, if that be your true intention, the prince of this world of darkness
that we see in our ignorance as existing on the "outside" of us).
32.  And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto Me (if that be their true
intention, to become "One with" Me in the next world, before they die, to be "One
with" the Holy Trinity of My Father within them, which is the Father, the Son, and
the Holy Spirit within them in the next world, before they die and rot in the earth
          of this world).
33.  This He said, signifying what death He should die (and signifying what death each
of us should die, if "Oneness with" Him in the next world, before we die in this
          world, be our true intention).

Inner Meaning:

The purpose of our life in this world is to pass our Judgment within us, before we die, in this way, letting Jesus (peace be upon  Him) be "lifted up from the earth", and letting Jesus then "draw all men unto Me", that is, pull us into Himself within us, with us becoming "One with" Him within us, within the next world within us, which in maturity is the heart of wisdom within us, the palace of the soul within us, the house of wisdom within us, the house of Qutb Muhaiyaddeen Abdul-Qadir al-Jilani (may God be pleased with Him) within us.

And our Judgment is letting this happen both within us and "outside" of us, that is, letting the prince of this world be cast out of each of us, the prince of this world of darkness that we see in our ignorance as existing on the "outside" of us, the prince of darkness in this world of darkness which in truth is each of us living our current lives, living a life of sin, a life of "separation and differences" with our brother and sisters in the world that we see in our collective ignorance as existing on the "outside" of us, living a life of "separation from" God, of "separation from" each other, and of "separation from" the Creation of God within us, that we currently believe defines us, defines "who we are", and defines "where we are", and defines "what is happening" in our life, which is all false.

That is, our Judgment is letting Jesus (peace be upon Him) be pulled from the earth within us by God within us, causing "us" as "separate from" God on the "outside" of us to die, to die to the world "outside" of us, to die to a life of "separation and differences" on the "outside" of us, a life which ends when our soul is no longer supporting it, when Jesus (peace be upon Him) is no longer crucified on our elemental body within us, with the 5 nails of "desire to live" on the "outside" of us, and in this way, allowing Jesus (peace be upon Him) when Jesus (peace be upon Him) is pulled by God into Himself within us, allowing Jesus (peace be upon Him) to pull us into Himself within God within us.

That is, when this Judgment of this world of hell both within and "outside" of us, happens to Jesus (peace be upon Him) within us, when He is liberated from the cross of our elemental body within us by our wisdom within us, by our "Spirit" within us, who is "John the Baptist" within us, who is the guardian of our soul within us, who is currently sleeping within us.

And we do this, by first become "One with" the Spirit of God within us, which is our wisdom within us, by first awakening the wisdom surrounding our soul within us, so the wisdom within us can do battle with the "enemy of the soul" within us, which is "us" living a life of "separation and differences" with our brothers and sisters in the world that we see in our collective ignorance as existing on the "outside" of us.

And finally, we do this, we awaken the wisdom surrounding our soul by feeding it with the water of wisdom, the grace of wisdom, for our age, which is the life and teaching of God for our age, which for our age, is the life and teaching of our Father, Shaikh Muhammad Rahim Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him), and of His Children (may God be pleased with each of Us).  Amen.
                                                                                                                                  - go to outline
F.  Jesus Explains Who Is "The Son of Man" On The "Outside" of Us - and who is "The Son of God" within us

Outer Story:

Jesus explains that the "Son of Man" is the light of God on the "outside" that people are experiencing as Jesus of Nazareth (peace be upon Him) who is the gift of God for that age, who provides a contrast between the light and the darkness on the "outside" of us, so through this understanding we can reject the darkness on the "outside" of us, which is our current life on the "outside" of  us, and begin to hate it, because it is "separating us", the true us, which is our soul, from God.

So understanding this we can let it leave us, we can let our "outside" end, as the true "enemy of our soul", we can let it come to an end, both within us and on the "outside" of us, when Jesus (peace be upon Him) leaves the world on the "outside" of us, allowing Jesus (peace be upon Him) to pull the light of God within us, which is our soul, into Himself within God within us, when God pulls Jesus (peace be upon Him) on the "outside" of us into Himself within us.

34.  The people answered Him, We have heard out of the law that Christ abideth for
ever: and how sayest Thou, The Son of man must be lifted up?  Who is this Son
          of man?
35.  Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you.  Walk while ye
have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness
          knoweth not whither he goeth.
36.  While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the Children of light.
These things spake Jesus, and departed, and did hide Himself from them.

Inner Meaning:

The "Son of man" is the light of God on the "outside" of us, that comes into each age, to be both the judgment and the salvation of man for each age, as the life and teaching of God for each age, whose Word awakens the wisdom surrounding our soul, so the wisdom surrounding our soul can do battle with the enemy of our soul, which is our life of "separation and differences" that we are currently living with our brothers and sisters in the world that we see in our collective ignorance as existing on the "outside" of us.

And the "Son of God" is the light of God within us, that has been crucified within us, so we can sin, so we can live a life of "separation and differences" on the "outside" of us, so we in our ignorance can become the "enemy of the soul" within us.

The "Son of man" is the light of God on the "outside" of us that helps separate the darkness from us, by showing us on the "outside" of us the contrast between the light and the darkness on the "outside" of us, so understanding can occur, showing us while the light is still in the world "outside" of us, as the gift of God for our age, the difference between the light and the darkness within us, so understanding can occur within us, so through understanding this difference we can see the darkness within ourselves, if we like, as the life we love on the "outside" of us, that must become the life we hate on the "outside" of us.

That must become the life we hate on the "outside" of us because it is keeping us, keeping our soul, keeping the light within us, "separate from" God within us, because it is keeping Jesus (peace be upon Him) within us crucified on the cross of our elemental body, so we can sin, so we can live a life of "separation and differences" on the "outside" of us.

And in this way, if we like, we can reject the darkness within us, that we see in our ignorance as the "outside" of us, before the light "outside" of us leaves the world, so when the light "outside" of us leaves the "outside" of us, when God lifts the light "outside" of us up from the earth, and God pulls it within Himself within us, then the light within us, which is our 6th life, the life of our soul, the life of Jesus (peace be upon Him) within us, is ready to leave the world of darkness within us, ready to be drawn up by the light "outside" of us, ready to be pulled into Jesus (peace be upon Him) on the "outside" of us, when He leaves the world "outside" of us, when He is "lifted up from the earth" by God within us, when God pulls Jesus (peace be upon Him) back into Himself within us.
                                                                                                                                  - go to outline
G.  Jesus Explains Why People In His Age Did Not Believe In Him

Outer Story:

Jesus (peace be upon Him) explains why the people living in the world, when God sent Jesus (peace be upon Him) into the world to speak the Word of God, and to show the power of God in miracles, "yet they believe not on Him", yet "they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their hearts, and be converted" to the truth of their own lives, and of their own souls, because God had blinded their eyes, and hardened their hearts, so what had been said by Esaias (peace be upon Him) the prophet might be fulfilled, and what must happen to Jesus (peace be upon Him) and his disciples and his true servants (friends) in the world could happen.

37.  But though He had done so many miracles before them, yet they believe not on
          Him:
38.  That the saying of Esaias the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord,
who hath believed our report?  And to whom hath the arm of the Lord been
          revealed?
39.  Therefore, they could not believe, because that Esaias said again,
40.  He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their hearts; that they should not see
with their eyes, nor understand with their hearts, and be converted, and I shall
          heal them.
41.  These things said Esaias, when he saw His glory, and spake of Him.
42.  Nevertheless among the chief rules also many believed on Him; but because of
the Pharisees they did not confess Him, lest they should be put out of the
          synagogue.
43.  For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.

Inner Meaning:

So Jesus (peace be upon Him) explains that the reason the people living in the world, did not believe in Him, when He came into the world, was because "Them not believing in Him" when He came into the world had been prophesied by the earlier Prophets of God.  For example, the Prophet Esaias (peace be upon Him) had so prophesied this both about his own Prophethood, and about Jesus (peace be upon Him) coming into the world.  Also, another and even more subtle reason is that so what must happen to Jesus (peace be upon Him), as well as to His disciples, and to His servants (friends), as well as what must happen to each of us now living in this age, when Jesus (peace be upon Him) came into the world in that age, as orchestrated by God within each of us, both then and now, would occur.

For example, by us now reading the "Gospel of John" after sitting at the feet of the Messenger of God, the gift of God, for our age, at the feet of our Father, Shaikh Muhammad Rahim Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him), and of
His Children
(may God be pleased with each of Us).  Amen.

For example, in this way, allowing us to clearly see the "Oneness" between the Word of all of the Prophets of God, especially between Jesus (peace be upon Him) and Muhammad (blessing and peace be upon Him), the last two prophets of God in the last age, and how what Jesus (peace be upon Him) said over 2000 years ago was brought to completion over 1400 years ago, as the last coming of the first and last prophet of God, of the Prophet Muhammad (blessing and peace be upon Him).

With "John the Baptist" and Jesus (peace be upon Him) within us, which is the wisdom surrounding our soul and our soul, returning our soul to purity within us, if that be our true intention within us, as the "flower and beautiful fragrance of the Holy Trinity of God" that lies hidden within each of us, and with the Prophet Muhammad (blessing and peace be upon Him) within us, making our soul shine, as the light of our wisdom, as the Nur Muhammad, if we will only let Him, allowing True Prayer to occur within us in the "Secret World of Allah" within us, that has been hidden by God within the dunya or this earth world within us.

In this way, if we truly join in partnership with God within us, and stop working for wages to get into heaven on the "outside" of us, in this way, our life will become truly successful before we die, in this way, allowing our wisdom to reason over our fate, and in the process, revealing True Man within the Creation of God within us, as the "Oneness of God and His Creation" within us, allowing True Man within us to reveal God within the Creation of True Man within us, which is akhirah or the next world within us, as the "Oneness of True Man and His Creation" within us, and in this way, revealing the "Oneness of God and True Man" within us, which in truth is God and True Man within us.  Amen.

H.  Jesus Explains What His Coming Into The World Must Represent To Us

Outer Story:

44.  Jesus cried and said, He that believeth on Me, believeth not on Me, but on Him
          that sent Me.
45.  And he that seeth Me seeth Him that sent Me.
46.  I am come a light into the world, that he whosoever believeth on Me should not
          abide in the darkness.

Inner Meaning:

Jesus (peace be upon Him) explains that his coming into the world over 2000 years ago must represent to each of us the "Oneness" of "us", of "John the Baptist", of Jesus, and of God within us, with John and Jesus (peace be upon Them) and God within us, becoming the flower and the beautiful fragrance of the Holy Trinity of God within us, and with "us" becoming God's "witness" of this, of this happening within us, if that be our true intention within us, as well as God's witness of our current life of sin, coming to an end both within us and on the "outside" of us, God's witness of our current life of "separation and differences" on the "outside" of us, as the flower and fragrance of the 3 hidden elements within us, of the elements of water, fire, and air, within us, that become the 5 elemental spirits within us, God's witness within us of these 5 spirits joined as one within us, as a co-operative store within us, joined together for profit within us, coming to an end, coming to an end both within and "outside" of us.

In this way, returning our soul to its original purity within us, but this time with an understanding of that purity, so we will never loose it again, laying the foundation for the journey of the Prophet Muhammad (blessing and peace be upon Him) to God within us, the journey of Mi'raj within us, where Muhammad (blessing and peace be upon Him), communes directly with God within us, at the top of the mountain of our mind and desire, the mountain of our hard rocky heart within us, in this way, overcoming our mind and desire within us, by melting our heart within us, returning the soul within us, that has become "One with" our wisdom within us, to the original body of the soul within us, which is the Nur Muhammad within us, that was placed as the light of our wisdom by God on the forehead of Adam (peace be upon Him) within us, when God created Adam (peace be upon Him) within us, in this way, if we let Muhammad (blessing and peace be upon Him0 within us, complete His journey within us, making our life eternal within us
